Frequently Asked Questions
What makes mining valves different from standard industrial valves?
Mining valves are engineered to handle abrasive media, high pressures, vibration, and harsh environments commonly found in mining and mineral processing operations.
Can construction valves be used in hydraulic systems?
Yes. Many valves for construction equipment are compatible with hydraulic circuits and other fluid power systems used in earthmoving and heavy machinery.
What should I consider when choosing a valve for mining applications?
Consider media type (e.g., slurry, water), pressure and temperature ranges, mechanical stress, and resistance to wear and abrasion to ensure optimal valve performance.
Do these valves require special maintenance?
They are designed for heavy-duty use with lower maintenance requirements, but routine inspection and lubrication according to manufacturer recommendations will help extend service life.
